Technical Testing Agreement or Facility Usage Agreement
The University of Illinois requires researchers from off campus to sign a TTA or FUA. The TTA (Technical Testing Agreement) is for researchers who ask Core staff to perform work for them. The FUA (Facility Usage Agreement) is for researchers who use equipment in the Core, in-person or remotely. In either case you will need to fill out the Core Facilities Use Form.
Illinois Net ID
You will need to fill out this NetID Request form: https://identity.uillinois.edu/affilFrontEnd/
You can select UIUC, Institute for Genomic Biology, and “affiliate-researcher.” And put gfried@illinois.edu for your sponsor. Email Glenn at gfried@illinois.edu when you start this step. This can take a week to complete.
You may want to pick up an ID card from the University bookstore to access instruments after hours.
