Workshop: A Network Approach to Team Management
Social ties and network structures are highly predictive of team success. This workshop will focus specifically on the management routines and choices that contribute the team relationships and performance.

Objectives:

• Identify your personal team management values and routines
• Define different types of network structures (centralized, decentralized, core-periphery) and describe how these structures relate to team success.
• Explore the team management competencies and identify how they influence the structure of a network
• Create one action goal to influence the network structure of one of your science teams
