If you are interested in receiving our Volunteer Certification, please fill out this form below. You can fill out multiple forms if you do not have all of your hours.

Please see below for the 2 requirements to receive a certificate:

Outreach Volunteer Requirements:
- 16 hours of volunteering from August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025
- 2024-2025 only: Hour requirement can be replaced with volunteering for the World of Genomics at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (October 13-14, 2024)
Outreach Training Requirements:
- 2 training sessions related to engagement (outreach, communications, DEI, etc) provided by the University. Please check in advance to ensure eligibility of the topic and provide a link or copy of the event announcement with a paragraph summary of the topic to outreach@igb.illinois.edu
- 2024-2025 only: Training requirement can be replaced by attending the World of Genomics practice session (if also volunteering at World of Genomics)
